Are you looking for cheap full coverage auto insurance with no down payment? Whether you are looking for full coverage or cheap ‘just liability’ auto insurance, we can give you a free quote. First, here are a few things you should know about car insurance with no down payment.

  • Many companies will charge you a ‘down payment’ when it comes to auto insurance. Usually that down payment equals either a set amount, or two to three months worth of your premium. However, this is not the case with every company. Many companies do NOT charge a down payment.
  • There are hundreds of insurance companies looking to earn your business. Some will renew your policy in six month increments, and some will give you an annual premium.

We can help you find full coverage (comprehensive + collision) car insurance no down payment, regardless of how the insurance company does their billing.

The Way It Works:

In order to bind coverage, you have to pay your first month’s payment. However, this is not a down payment. This is just one month of insurance. Many companies will take the first month’s payment and then ask you if you want auto-pay in the future.

Learn How Full Coverage No Down Payment Auto Insurance Work with ExampleSo for example, let’s say you buy insurance on August 20th and you pay your first month’s payment. However, in the future you do not want your payments to automatically come out on the 20th of the month. Perhaps you want to have the payment come out of your checking account on the 5th of the month.

What most people don’t know is that insurance companies cannot withdraw money from your account twice within thirty days – so if you choose to pay on the 5th of the month in the future, your next payment wouldn’t come out until October the 5th. So, you pay for just one month to bind your coverage, and then your next payment is due 45 days after you pay your first payment.

You don’t have to choose to get money automatically withdrawn from your checking account. When you originally buy your insurance, simply set up a date in the future when you’d like for your bill to start and normally insurance companies will make the ‘next payment’ start on the date you wish. You can usually pay by credit card online or you can mail a check.

Remember, insurance companies want your business so they are flexible with payment types.

Furthermore, say you do want to purchase coverage on August the 20th. Many companies will let you pro-rate your payment until the end of the month, and let you pay your first payment on the first of the next month. This means you would only pay your first payment for the 20th-31st of August. Again, this is not a down payment, it’s just a first payment with no other hidden fees, sign up fees, double months, or extra money you don’t need to spend.

The Big Question: What if I find cheap full coverage auto insurance with no down payment with your company, but I’ve already paid my expensive car insurance until the end of the month or the end of my premium?

Free Quotes for Full Coverage without Down PaymentThis question is often asked, and it’s a very good question! If you’ve already paid another insurance company for the full month, or the full premium, but you find that we’re saving you a lot of money with your free insurance quote, the other company is legally responsible for refunding any money you’ve paid them after the date you cancel.

So, for example, if you purchase the insurance on the 20th but you’ve paid your existing company until the 31st, they will send you a refund check for the 20th to the 31st. This is a very smart way to go because not only are you saving money, you’re getting money back!
